Stephen Bishop of Pike and Morgan Co KY
Stephen Bishop was the son of George Bishop and Nancy Anna Boothe, of Montgomery/Russell/Floyd Counties of Virginia. Stephen relocated to Pike Co Ky with other family members in the mid to late 1820's. He left Pike and relocated to Morgan around mid 1830's. He died in Morgan Co Ky in 1848. The reasons he left Pike co are still unknown, as well as how he came to wind up in Morgan. In most cases, a person either traveled with family, or to family. I have not been able to discover either in this case. Anyone who has any further information on this family, please contact me. Thank you.
