Individual:
Dad served with the Canadian Forces in WWII in Sicily and Italy. He rarely spoke about his military service. When I took a trip to Italy and described a terrifying drive on the road to Amalfi, he told me he knew the road well and that they had lost several drivers over those cliffs.
The memories I have of my father from when I was young were good. I can remember dancing with daddy where I would stand on his feet and he would walk around. He would also put our heads between his knees and walk around singing "Us 2 boys we go for a walk". He was a strict disciplinarian probably stemming from his military training and war service. He enjoyed playing golf at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club, curling and playing bridge. Source: Barbara MorganCertificate of Marriage
