Valliere, Mary Ann - 336 N. McKinley Rd., Flushing, age 82, died Wednesday, February 23, 1972 at Fling Osteopathic Hospital. Funeralservices will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Roberts CatholicChurch, Flushing. Rev. Fr. Charles Jacobs officiating. Burial in St.Marys Cemetery, Hemlock, Michigan. A wake service will be held atthe Rossell Funeral Home at 8 Friday evening. Mrs. Valliere was bornin Marine City, Michigan on June 24, 1890, the daughter of George andAnna Corbat and had moved to the Flushing area in 1921 and has residedthere since. She married Eric J. Valliere in Merrill, Michigan on May5, 1909. Mrs. Valliere was a member of St. Roberts Altar Society andSt. John Fisher Guild. Surviving are: Husband, Eric Valliere;daughter, Anna May Edgecombe of Flushing; son, Frank Valliere ofFlint; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; brother, Joe Corbatof Merrill, Michigan; 8 sisters, Carrie Blades of Pickney, Michigan,Myrtle Reichenbach of Detroit, Helen Gillam of Roseville, Michigan,Frances Bay of Detroit, Agnes Sova of Flint, Nora Weibrouch of ElPaso, Texas, may Fertig of Akron, Ohio and Catherine Anderws of Akron,Ohio; son-in-law, Claude Scutt of Flushing. Arrangements by theRossell Funeral Home, Flushing.Death Certificate lists birth date as 1889.
