Ellen Thomas 64 of New Port,Kentucky died July 20,1984,Born November18,1919,she was the daughter of Alfred Spencer and Sally Short,She was the widow of Clay Thomas And George Morris.She is survived by five daughters and two sons.Maria & William / Bill Noonchester,Lena Mae & Ronnie Sester Of Ft,Wright,Ky. Beatrice & Adalene both of New Port,Ky,Dulcinna Chenot of Dayton,Ky.and Clay Thomas Jr,of Jackson Ky.Kelley Beech Thomas of Newport,Ky.two sisters Dulcinna Hall of Jackson,Gladys Pitts of Indiana.Two brothers Kelly Spencer ofJackson Ky. and Taylor Spencer of Indiana.Funeral services were held on Tuesday July 24,1984 at 11:00 at Watts&Spencer Funeral Home,Rev,Dennis Creech officiating,Burial folled at Town Hill Cemetery She had blue eyes blond hair 5ft 7in tall weight one thirty five.She was mother of eight children..Clay Thomas fact # 1 born and died in Breathitt County,Kentucky #2 was a coal miner #3 the father of eight children,#4 cause of death ,drowned during a flood,#5 burial Townhill Cemetery He was around 6 ft tall very dark eyes and very dark ,or we called black hair,He was around a hundred and seventy lbs at the time of his death.He had dark skin coloring,from being outside so much, He was well liked and a very friendly person,Always wore overhauls,He was a coal miner.
