Individual:
In 1913, Leonard, wife, Laura, and family left their home in Pine Park, Grady CO, GA and moved by train to Deerfield, FL..later to Delray Beach, FL. Leonard farmed , then dealt in real estate at the time of S FL's great land boom. With its collapse in the mid 1920's, Leonard and family moved on to San Antonio, TX.
Leonard and Laura's names, both beginning with the twelfth letter of the alphabet, certainly influenced the choice of their children's names. When Leonard and Laura left for TX, two of the children remained in FL..
