Individual:
L'Ancêtre de cette famille, Michel Boudrot, originaire de Cougnes,
diocèse de La Rochelle, s'était marié en France, vers 1642, à Michelle
Aucoin. La plupart des noms qui suivent descendent de Gabriel Boudreot,
établis aux Îles-de-la-Madeleine.

Michel Boudrot est né en France vers l'an 1601. A la fin des années 1630,
il vient s'établir en Acadie. Des écrits de l'époque l'identifient
d'ailleur comme syndic à Port-Royal en 1639.
Vers l'an 1641, il convole en juste noces et se marie avec Michelle
Aucoin. De leur mariage naîtront onze enfants.
Au recensement de 1671, on le retrouve comme laboureur. Lors du
recensement de 1686, on l'identifie comme lieutenant général civil et
criminel, poste qui est associé à la magistrature.
Le benjamin est enfants de Michel se prénommait François. Il est né en
1666. En 1692, il épouse Madeleinne Belliveau, fille de Jean Belliveau et
de Jeanne Bourque. Il aura de nombreux enfants qui assureront la
descendance des Boudrot au Nouveau-Brunswick et en terre d'Amérique.
