THURMAN, LUCINDA, 37 yoa, John M 18 yoa and Richard 15 yoa. Lucinda is head of the house and is a widow. Jabez Thurman, 85 yoa, father-in-law lives with her They live next door to Jabez' son, John Tyler Thurman whom Lucinda married September 1881.
Lucinda married 1st Henry in 1861 then his brother, John Tyler in 1881 after she had been a widow for 16 years.

The funeral of Mrs. Lucinda Thurman, age 73 years, widow of C.T. and J. T. Thurman, having been twice married, whose death occurred Saturday afternoon at the home of her son, Richard Thurman, six miles south from Knoxville, will be conducted from Mount Olive Baptist church of which the deceased was a consistent member, at eleven o'clock this morning. Rev. W. Singleton will officiate. The following gentlemen will be pall-bearers: Messers. Thomas Franklin, Horace Masterson, Will Nichols, Roy Pickens, Ed Berry and W. B. Ford. Mrs. Thurman is survived by two sons, John M. and Richard Thurman, five brothers and three sisters, Butler, Nathaniel, J. H., Charles and Rule Tipton, and Mrs. French, Mrs. Dixon, and Mrs. Rose, also five step-children, Mrs. Dick Monday, Joe Thurman, Mrs. Wm. Faulkner, Mrs. Anderson Ford and Mrs. John Haskins.Copy of license is in file.
