Jacob Ingraham married my grandmother in 1811. Her name was Mary Marie Modesitt her parents were Charles Modesitt and Frances Burns they had bought 400 acres of land on Fox Grape Run. (Fox Grape Run is a tributary of the Tygart.s Valley river and is located about 3 miles below Philippi, Barbour Co., West Virginia.
