Individual:
Jeremiah Evans and family lived in Roane Co., TN 1807-1822, Morgan Co., TN 1822-1835; Barry Co., MO 1835-1845; Lawrence County was formed from Barry County in 1845.
Jeremiah Evans served in the War of 1812 and received a land warrant for that service. Sarah Davis Evans is listed on the 1850 census but died soon after. Jeremiah Evans remarried to Mary Parker in August 1851 and died two months later. He died intestate; Harden Evans was appointed administrator of the estate November 10, 1851.
