Individual:
Ernest Lockwood Inlisted into The US Navy in 1927.
Worked for many years as a custodian at City Hall in Peekskill, New York.
He was also the caretaker of the Old VanCortlandtville Cemetery in the Town of Cortlandt for many years. He
was one of the founders of the Peekskill Fife & Drum Corp. Mr. Lockwood played everything but was mainly the
bass drummer. He was also a life member of the Buchanan Fie Co. Engine #1.
