1812: Soldier in LeBoeuf's 7th Regiment, Louisiana Militia in the War of 1812.
In the 1850 census of Lafourche Parish Andre Adam age 60 and his wife Celeste (Roger) age 56 live with their sons Leon age 24, Valery age 22, Cletus age 20, (Jean Baptiste) Trasimond age 16, and two male children Theophile age 1 and Taylor age one who may be siblings of Andre and Celeste's older children and daughters Eseline age 21 and Azelia age 20. Living near them are three of their sons and their families; Hermogene, Celestin and Michel. Floriska, the daughter Celestin and Adelien Deslatte, who will become the wife of Cletus JB Roger, is 3 years old and is living with her family next door to Hermogene. [Two children Theophile and Taylor in Andre's household are listed as 1 year old. At Andre and his wife's age I think that those children are not theirs but children of their children or orphans from some other family.]
