Isaac Garrett was born July 22, 1808 at Warrior Creek, Laurens County, South Carolina, died September 3, 1867 at Campbell County, Georgia, buried at Piney Woods Cemetery, Fulton County, Riverton Dist., Georgia. He is the son of John Garrett and Sarah Mauldin. He married Elizabeth Ball in South Carolina. Isaac and Elizabeth moved to Campbell County, Georgia in 1831 and settled on the east bank of the Chattahoochie River, where he acquired several hundred acres of land. Children: William J., Lemuel, John E., Mary Ann, Francis Marion, Young, Parker R., Sarah Priscilla, Elizabeth Fannie, Amanda Bowen.
