Isaac Steinruck Property: Description and Transactions
At the time it was sold in 1868, the description of the Isaac Steinruck property was as follows:
"Beginning at a tree in the line of Godfrey Longbein's land thence to Sabastian Keeley's land south thirty four degrees east, one hundred perches to a corner, thence by Conrad Diefenbach's land north thirty eight degrees and one fourth, east fifty two perches to a corner, thence by the same north twenty-one degrees west thirty one perches to a corner and by the same north forty degrees east eight (or eighty) perches to a corner, thence by lands of John Yohns north forty nine and a half degrees west, sixty one perches thence Godfrey Songbim's land south thirty eight and one fourth degrees west forty eight perches to place of beginning. Continaing 34 acres and two perches. Isaac Steinruck obtained the tract from Samuel Cressman April 2, 1855."
