Individual:

Evidence for her being the daughter of James Woodford and Luvina (Pulliam) Alvis includes moves from state to state, ending in Jefferson Co IL, her oldest son James W (for Woodford?) who had a dt Lavina, and the marriage of a Dare son and a girl named Dial, plus an intermarriage between one of Roland s cousins and a dt of Martin Dial, Luvina s second husband. Dt Sarah Frances and son Alison may indicate Pulliam names. Jane E may have been named for her father s grandmothers Jane (Criaghead) Hail and Elizabeth (Knolling) Alvis. Nellie Becker wrote me years ago that her father had a cousin Ida, whom I was unable to identify until finding this family; I now know that Sarah (Alvis) Fulwider also had a daughter Ida.
