LAKEVILLE -- Bruce W. Beard, 68, of 64770 Kenilworth Road, died at 4:10 p.m.
Saturday at Medco Center, South Bend. Mr. Beard retired in 1986 from Mastic
Corp., South Bend, after 47 years of service. He was born Dec. 22, 1921, in
Fulton County and was a lifelong area resident. On July 22, 1949, in South
Bend, he married Naomi V. Kirkley, who survives. Also surviving are two
daughters, two sons, and a grandson. Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, at Palmer Funeral Home. Cremation will take place. Friends may call
after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
