William Faires and Mary Foster

William Faires and Mary Foster (Forster) were married on June 27, 1764 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, Pa. They had oneson, John, and a daughter named Charolette. We know very little more ofWilliam except that he was a trader and went to Louisiana to trade withthe Choctow Indians. He died at Pt. Coupes, Louisiana, on October 26,1774, of yellow fever.
Mary was the daughter of Chistopher and Lydia Hand Foster or possible Forster. She was born February 3, 1744, probably at or nearCape May, New Jersey. She had brothers: Christopher, b about 1732;Constantine, b Feb 18, 1742; Daniel, Richard, and Edward b about 1747.
A sister, Abigal was b about 1735. Her father Christopher was born about 1706, the son of Nathanial Foster of Cape May. Lydia Hand was born about1710, the daughter of Thomas Hand of Cape May.
