Text: Dear Mr. Adair,
Recently you were contacted by my cousin Cindy Cline regarding Andrew
Nelson. We are so excited that someone may have some information on our
Great, Great, Great Grandparents.
Based on the information you provided Cindy, I know the dates seem to be out
of whack a little so I am going to try to put it all together. Our link to
Andrew Nelson will be through his son Christopher Nelson. We have
Christopher's death certificate listing Andrew Nelson and Susan Pratt as his
parents but we were never able to go any further and don't even know where
they were from. Christopher, we have alot of information on. As you know
he was born in 1843/1844. This is listed on the death certificate as well as
his head stone. He was born in Kentucky, somehow got up to Illinois because
that is where he enlisted in the Cavalry during the Civil War and then moved
to Missouri where he married Elisabeth Craven and they raised their family.
Based on the above information, my question to you is do you think Roy Edgar
Adair has information on Andrew that would tie directly to Christopher, and
would he be willing to share with me? What is the best way to contact Roy?
Also, do you think you could send your GEDCOM file over to me?
My records are an open book and I would love to share anything I have
however it appears that you go back further than I do!!
Thank you Charles for your time.
Sincerely,
Luann Nelson McElduff
