Pinegrove Baptist Church Cemmetery, Bath, South
Carolina. Married Ernest Malcolm O'Shields. ( Son of
William Franklin O'shields and Jennie Dunnaway. born
23/Aug/1886 died 16/Apr/1938 buried beside Ola at the
Pinegrove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Children:
1. Lewis Clyde O'Shields born 10/Jan/1906 Union SC,
died Feb/1968 Brain Stroke.buried Sunset Memorial
Gardens cemetery, Langley SC,married Iva Mae Thrower
2. Luther Samuel O'Shields born 8/mar/1915, died
Nov/1977, buried Pinegrove Baptist Cemetery beside his
parents. married June ?.
3. Edith born 11/Jan/1910, died 21/Mar/1992.
Charleston SC. married Harry Kennerty.
4. Helen birth and death unknown, married Marion
Rankin and is buried somewhere in Aiken County.
5. Richard Earl born 7/May/1912, died 10/Aug/1980,
buried Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetry, Langley SC.
married Dorothy ?.
6. Audrey died 1982 and is buried beside her brother
Luther Samuel at the Pinegrove Baptist Cemetery, Bath
SC. born about 1911 numbers on marker broken up.

Lewis Clyde O'Shields was my grandfather. William
Franklin his father is in the census of 1920 for Union
county I am in the process of getting the microfilm
now to find out who his children were. Iva Mae my
grandmother was from Tallaspoosa Alabama. You would
happen to know what Ola's middle name was. I will keep
you posted as I find more information. I have the
cemetery records for. Lewis, Iva Mae, and Richard Earl
from the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. I have
photo's of the markers and headstones for Luther
Samuel and Audrey plus the headstones for Ola and
Ernest. I was visiting in April. I hope to go back in
the near future. I now live in North Carolina in
Jacksonville close to the Camp Lejuene Marine Corp
Base. My husband is an Ex-Marine. Thanks for the information.
