ADAIR, John Jeff 72, Spartanburg, 6-13-63 p32
John Jeff Adair, 72, of 102 Delray Drive, died at 2:20 p. m. Wednesday at a local nursing home after a serious illness of two months. Mr. Adair was a native of Spartanburg County and a son of the late Mathew L. and Alice McCarter Adair. He was a retired textile worker and a Baptist. Surviving are: two sisters, Mrs Minnie Greer and Mrs Beauna A Proffitt, both of Spartanburg, and two brothers, M. C. of Cowpens and G. B. Adair of Spartanburg. The family is at the home of a sister, Mrs. Proffitt, 102 Delray Drive. J. F. Floyd Mortuary is in charge.
