Joe died of cholera in 1847 with his wife and infant daughter. Either his moth er or his wife's mother, whose name was Nancy Hamlet, raised their son Joseph W illiam West. Nancy married an Artimus Millet sometime after 1847. Joseph used the Millet name for several years. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
