Notes 
Individual:
The Newton's were direct descendants of Rev. Roger Newton, the first pastor of Farmington and the Second pastor at Milford ( 1660 -1683)succeeding Rev. Peter Pruden who founded Milford in 1639. Rev. Roger Newton had married the daughter, Mary, of Rev. Thomas Hooker who founded Hartford, Connecticut in 1636. Rev. Roger Newton attended Cambridge University and was said to be a close relative ( probably an uncle) of Sir Isaac Newton who started Cambridge 1646.
