Data from LDS search showing Isaac son of John Garrett and Sarah Mauldin.

He is the son of John Garrett and Sarah Mauldin. He married Elizabeth Ball in South Carolina. Isaac and Elizabeth moved to Campbell County, Georgia in 1831 and settled on the east bank of the Chattahoochie River, where he acquired several hundred acres of land. Children: William J., Lemuel, John E., Mary Ann, Francis Marion, Young, Parker R., Sarah Priscilla, Elizabeth Fannie, Amanda Bowen.


Isaac Garrett and Elizabeth moved on to Campbell Co Ga (now Fulton Co, Atlanta) My father says that he remembers talk within the family that they owned land where downtown Atlanta now stands
