Francis Conroy and Margaret Pidgeon were my great great grandparents. They are said to have come from Ireland although I believe Francis Conroy was born in Windsor, Lancashire (or Lincolshire). The Conroys originated from Ireland but I don't know where.
Francis Conroy was born around 1856 and Margaret Pidgeon around 1857. They are said to have owned an Inn in Ireland. In the 1881 Census they lived at 127 Old Bidston Road, Claughton, Wirral.
