I have recently started researching my mother's side of the family, who came to the U.S. in early 1900s from Finland. I also recently acquired about 3 dozen very old black and white photos, I believe many were taken in Finland (Russia) and know for sure some are my great-grandparents. Unfortunately, many have not identification and some have writing in Finnish. Some are identified on the bottom front edge as "Lydia Sällergren" "Ilmajoki" I know Ilmajoki is a town but does anyone know how I might locate who this photographer is? Also, I am researching the family names: Tuomisto, Mannisto and Virta or Virtanen. Thank you.
