I also am looking for my maternal grandmother's parents. My maternal grandfather was John Sidbeck & my mother was Signe Sidbeck. John was born in Portom, Finland in 1880 & died in Escanaba in 1963. My mother was born in Thompson,Mi in 1907 & died in Escanaba in 1959. John's younger brother Abraham. Abe was born in Portom in 1883 & died in Manistique in 1958. My brother thinks John's wife Hilma was born an Erickson. I remember hearing the name Stoor when I was a child. Henrey & Dorothy Brolin were Cousins of my mother. I also wemember Frans & Middaugh family. Not much help for but maybe you can help me.
