I saw your message and thought you might like to have some more info on Mark Chamberlain. I belong to the Biggar Genealogy Society and came across some newspaper info on Chamberlains. "April 1, 1934, Mrs Mark Chamberlain,73 years, survived by husband and 4 sons, Lowry of Danford Lake, John,James, and Harvey of Biggar, came to Biggar in 1915, interment Biggar Cemetary."(April 5,1934.8) Biggar Independent.
"Mark Chamberlain,73years,hangs himself in barn, despondent over death of wife, 2 sons Jim and Harvey" (20 Sept.1934.1)
There is also some reference to Gabies in there.
If you would like our Biggar Genealogy Society to research, copy and type out deaths and obits out of the mewspaper for you we could. The cost would be 25.00 plus postage or you could buy the "Birth, Marriage,Deaths 1931-1940" Book for $20.00 plus $8.50 postage and handling.
Hope this will help you in your research.
