George Dent went inside the Coal Mines in 1935 at age 13, at the Boomer Coal
&Coke.
he worked for Cannelton Coal & Fuel 1939-1943
he worked for Beards Fork Coal and also worked at the movie house at the Beards
Fork movie house..
he moved his family to Clinton Camp Boone County WVa in 1950, Where he worked
for Eastern Coal Company at the following Coal Mines
1. Cow Creek # 2 Mine.
2. Workman Br # 11 Mine.
3. Wharton # 4 Mine.
In 1962 he was in a mine accident at eastern number 4 Wharton mine... one man
died.
He was a easy going hard working honest man... Somewhat a worry wart when it
came to his family.
