In Indiana census records, Michael Erskine born VA about 1800 has many birth years, from 1794 to 1804. Who are Michael's parents, and where in Monroe County did he live?
His son from his first marriage was Madison Erskine, born in VA. He married secondly Rebecca Parks in Indiana in 1846. He has descendants both from Madison and from son William H.Erskine born about 1853 in Boone County Indiana.
Michael died after the 1880 census, in Boone Co, Indiana.
I have found several Michael Erskines of the approximate age, but I have no more information to link my Michael to any of them. Any help you can give me will be much appreciated.
