Does anyone have any info on a John Ruby from Ohio/WV area? He married Jurithia Pauley. I believe she was from Ohio area, but not sure. They had sons named Benjamin, Calvin, Vincent per the 1880 census. In 1885 they had a son named Ras. He is my great grandfather. John was born about 1826. The 1880 census said he was born in Ohio. However, I have always been told he was born in Ireland... Also, there have been tales that he may have had another family prior to marrying Jurithia. She was 22 yrs younger than John.

Any information would be very helpful.
