I am searching for information on John T. Hamilton who married Sarah Cartmill, in 1855 in Mason Couny. The Cartmill family lived in Kanawha County. Sarah was born abt 1836. I have all the info on Sarah, what I am in need of is information on John. I do not know where he was born, where he died or who his parents were. I do not know if they stayed near her parents and family, or if they moved away. I do know that Sarah died in 1876 in Ohio, but do not know when they moved there. They had seven children, George b 1865, William b 18676, Charles F. b 1868, Elizabeth & Napolean b 1870, John T. Hamilton jr, b March 5, 1873 & died 6 Jun 1897, in Milton, West Virginia, James Hamilton b 1875. James is my great grandfather. James married Lida Lewis in Boston, Elizabeth, Alleghney Coutny, Pa in 1900.
