He raised a large graden with fields of corn running all down the hill side at Cow Creek..Wilson had 8 cows on his land...and over 100 chickens all pecking up and down the hill side of the land.
Wilson in the winter would work for the Ritter lumber comany sawmill, he also in the 1940's helped the coal company built houses in what now is known as Clinton Camp.

He was a very honest God fearing man..that would read the bible to his kids by lamp..as my grandfather Ivan White has told me.

Milton White worked in the coal mines back when it was back brakeing work...back in the day's when the miner had to furnish the powder and carbide and tools to blast the coal in order to hand pick the coal the next day.
Many times his children saw him come home and lay out in the floor near the coal stove and sleep until the sun came up to go back and do it all over.
The land owed by Wilson White and Milton White at Cow Creek Boone Co WV was bought for the 8 years they owed the land at $3.00 dollars a year giving them $24.00 dollars and giving up all rights to mineral right's and all Claims...bought by the Eastern Coal Company.
