MRS. CATHARINE RYAN
At her home in Albany, Green county, at half-past seven o'clock Thursday morning, Mrs. Catherine Ryan, wife of Mr. John Ryan, quietly fell into that peaceful sleep which knows no awakening this side the grave. She was about 50 years of age. Some thirty-five years ago deceased was a resident of Janesville. She had lived in Brooklyn and New York, but for the past eight years had resided with her husband in Albany. She was the mother of Mr. Con Ryan of Washington Hose Co. No. 1, and had many relatives residing in Rock county. She was a woman possessing a kindly nature that attracted to her a large circle of friends, who will join in the sorrow of the numerous relatives on account of her death.
The funeral services were held at Albany at nine o'clock this morning. The remains were brought to the city this afternoon and interred in Mr. Olivet cemetary.
