The Janesville Supervisor Passes Away At His Home In The Fourth Ward.

Two County Pioneers Pass Away Within a Few Hours--The Daily Record of Death
John R. Ryan is dead. The news came from the bedside in the stricken home at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. Friday morning Mr. Ryan was attacked by paralysis, and later in the day a more severe stroke followed. To these visitations his death was due.
Mr. Ryan was a well known man in Janesville, and many a word of sorrow was spoken when his demise became known about town. He had been prominent as a railroad builder, and took an active part in local politics, being a staunch democrat and Fourth ward representative in the county board.
Mr. Ryan leaves a wife, but no children. Three brothers, Daniel, of this city; Dennis, of Footville; and W. P. Ryan, of St. Paul' and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Dwyer, of this city; Mrs. P. W. Meehan, of Beloit; and Mrs. Thomas Crowley, of Milton Junction, survive.
