My great great great grandfather, Joseph Isaac Burnett immigrated to Jackson County from New York state along with his father, John R. Burnett. His brothers/and sister were already living there at the time he moved there. O.C (Orvis Cyrus) Burnett, John H. Burnett, who was a Methodist Minister there, and their sister, Eliza A. Burnett-Lane, who was married to James Nelson Lane. I'm hoping that someone can help me find out what ever happened to John H. Burnett and perhaps share any information they can on their lives there in Jackson county.
