I am seeking ancestors and descendants of Joseph and Persis/Percis/Percy DARRAH-BRADFORD who married c.1818 and farmed in Berkshire, Franklin Co., VT in the first four decades of the 1800's. Their farm and families straddled the border between VT and the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Many of their 10 or 11 children migrated to Wisconsin prior to the Civil War. Their six sons (Ira A., Loren J., J.[ames] Nelson, Arwin A., Hiram H. and George W.BRADFORD) served in Union Army companies of the WI Infantry and Cavalry' They later pioneered MI, KS, NE and beyond. Joseph was married earlier(c.1806) to Susannah WASHER ? with children, Charlotte, Charles, William, Mary and John BRADFORD.
