I'm looking for John Anderson. He married Martha P Gibson of Louisa County, Va. in 1852. He owned land in Spotsylvania County from 1853 to 1856. He and Martha were dead by 1860. Their two boys, Frederick and Eugene went to live with Leroy B. Gatewood of Caroline County and Dr. Fleming J Hancock of Spotsylvania. Can anyone help me with this family? Martha's dad was Orragine Gibson and he married twice. His name is spelled differently in many documents. His second family lived up until 1955 (Elizabeth Gibson Groome) in Louisa and Spotsylvania....Can anyone help me?
