Trying to find who Samuel Gordon's parents were.

I've been searching for several years to locate documentation that listed Samuel P. Gordon's parents. He was my GG-Grandfather born abt. 1815 in Montgomery County Virginia. He married Jane (Jinsey or Ginsey ) Bowe the daughter of James Bowe of Botetourt County. Samuel died abt. 1867 in Montgomery County. His second son Charles L. Gordon was my G-Grandfather and he marries Sarah E. McDonald of Montgomery County. His first born was Montgomery Brown Gordon who was my grandfather. Any help will be very much appreciated.
