I just began researching my husband's family. His father was Orean (Orin) Mauldin, son of Robert Newton Mauldin and Nezzie Long. I have been stumped on Nezzie's maiden name until I found it on this site. (Thanks!) Robert's mother, Minerva Meeks Mauldin Williams, has been a dead end.

Does anyone have any information that will help me find Robert's father (Minerva's first husband, I suppose). It is the Mauldin line I am tracing, but any information on Nezzie Long's lineage would be equally interesting.
