My name is James Hartley Horner. My father Hartley Dennis Horner b. 1893 Overton. His father b. 1865 d. 1895 was Andrew Horner lived in 3rd civil district Overton Co.was son of Spencer Marion "Mape" Horner b. 1844 in Jefferson Co. Mape was discharged from CSA in 1864 and had two kids Andrew and Martha in 1865 and 1866, not sure what Co. Mape got married in 1870-1. to Melvina Hudson but all census records pension applications etc. state no children even tho the kids were with them in the 1880 census. I have seen notes that Anrews mother was an unknown Bilyeu girl. but have no evidence . Can anyone help me? jvhorner@cs.com
