Craig. My great grandfather was Fountain Edward Pitt Jennings. He was the son of Elizabeth Brett Jennings, who was the widow of Clement Jennings from Wilson County, Tn. Circa 1858, Elizabeth married a James Vaughn, and after the Civil War, they "migrated" to Brazil,and remained there. I know that James and Elizabeth had children together, as well as each had children from prior marriages. Those were raised in Brazil. They are mentioned in The Lost Colony of the Confederacy, written by Eugene Harter. Any more info you could share?
