I am searching for a photograph and info. on the old Elkanah School (torn down many, many years ago) located off Indian Creek Rd. in Sullivan Co., TN not far from Bluff City. I know the school was in use in the 1930s and perhaps beyond. I understand from the memories of those who attended that the school was torn down in the 1960s. I have had no luck with the Sullivan Co. School System records or those of the local libraries.
My aunt will be 90 in July so I am trying to find this for her as a gift. If you can help, please contact me by e-mail. Thank you!
