I'm not sure if this is going to be of any help but my great grandfather is from South Dakota and his name was Egbert Hall who was married to Moriah Isabella Hall (formerly Moriah Isabella Macy) and they had 6 children Edna, Edgar, Eunice, Ephron(?), and Donald Eme Hall. I'm not sure who the last child was. Maybe your 'Hall' and mine are connected in a way?
