Looking for the parents or siblings of Joseph Wooten,b.1811;d.1864.I have records of Civil War muster rolls, and also found record of his marriage in an old microfilmed Spartanburg newspaper. He married Elizabeth Catherine Clotfelter (or Clotfelder) on Dec.04,1859. They had one son,Peter Edmond Wooten,b.Jan.02,1862. Joseph was killed in the Civil War in the Battle of Petersburg. Shortly after,in 1865 his wife died (it is believed in childbirth),leaving Peter Edmond to be raised by her sister Sarah Clotfelter and her husband John Rome in NC.
