His widow Elizabeth married my 3rdgreatgrandfather Solomon Newsom in Lauderdale County Mississippi as his second wife.

Do not have a marriage date for Solomon and Elizabeth.

Little John Smith purchased land in Greene County Mississippi before 1820 near the border of Alabama.

Elizabeth died in Jones County near the children of Solomon by his first marriage.

Would appreciate more information on Elizabeth.
