I am searching for the parents of Samuel Whitesides born in York Co. S.C. in 1798. He married a Nancy Hogan .They moved to Alabama about 1823. In the U. S. Census the only possible Father was James, Hugh, or Thomas Whitesides. They were the only ones listen in the 1800 censes.
