My mother, Frances Russell(oct. 8, 1939) of Estill, South Carolina married Lawrence Williams, Jr.(Feb. 21, 1932)married May 31, 1955. I, Barbara Diann williams was born March 30, 1956. My father's parents are Sarah McKissick(maiden name)and Lawrence Williams, Sr. Accordingly to our family bible, Lawrence Williams Sr. parents were Allen and Dora Garrett(maiden name). Desperately trying to find if my grandfather, Lawrence Williams Sr, has cherokee in him; I am told that I have cherokee features too many times by strangers, even other cherokees.
