Cyrus married a Catherine Strait (b: 1824, Sommerset, Perry Co., OH; d: 1873, Nevada, Story Co., IA). One of their children was Hixon (Hickman) Springer (b: 1856, Sommerset, OH; d: April 3, 1927).
