The only thing I have on a Joseph Wirtner is that he married Enphiosinam Shattenkirchner on Jan. 28, 1862 by Fr. Isidore. OSB., at Harts Sleeping Place, Carrolltown, PA. His parents were Peter Wirtner and Mathilda Wirtner. Her parents were John Shattenkirchner and W. Baner. The wittness at this wedding were Mathias Dietrich and Mary Jane Miller.

This information I found at the Ebensburgh Historical Place on main St, Ebensburg. Hope that it helps you as I know it is hard to find information out about them. Wirtners are my ancestors and I am just now finding out more about them.
