I'd like info about my father's father, Michael Popovics, who was killed by a train after sending his wife, Helen Czima, & 2 small sons back to Slovakia for a visit sometime 1908-1910. They were Greek Catholic, I believe from the area of Portage/Dunlo/BensCreek. (Helen subsequently married Joseph Chiselko, probably Roman Catholic, and had 9 more children.) Perhaps there was a newspaper report or obituary? I'd like to know where he's buried and any info which would allow me to obtain a death certificate.
