My family settled in Buffalo/Jefferson Tnshps ca 1830s. Surnames: BEIKERT and RUDERT. I have much info on the RUDERTS, but very little on the origin of the BEIKERTs, and since I am descended from the first BEIKERT that we know of to come here, I am very interested in any information. He has become an enigma to me and my research. Have you come come across these two names?
